My Story
Hello and welcome!
I'm Alyse Bone, and I’ve been a passionate therapist for over nine years. My journey has been a diverse and enriching adventure, guiding clients aged 3 to 74 through their unique challenges in settings that span from forensic units and in-home care to schools, hospitals, and private practices. My extensive experience has honed my skills in a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic therapy.

Since 2016, I've also been nurturing the next generation of therapists as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I once studied. My recent work focuses on supporting families and children navigating ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and giftedness, as well as mentoring graduate interns.

I am a fervent believer in the transformative power of education on mental health awareness. I actively lead workshops and seminars tailored for schools, small businesses, and professionals seeking continuing education. My community service includes board membership at a local charter school and leadership roles within our state mental health organization, where I serve as the division President of Spirituality, Ethics, and Religion for 2023-2024 and will be the Child Development Division President from 2024-2025.

My career is a true reflection of my passion. Over the last decade, I've integrated my love for yoga to enhance the mind-body connection, benefiting athletes and clients alike. Each day, I am grateful to live out my dream of fostering healing, growth, and fulfillment in others’ lives.
Thank you for joining me here—I can't wait to connect and help you along your journey to wellness.
